One of our latest projects, for one of the UK’s leading shopfitters, Weatherhead, has us working in Oxford Brookes University, completing construction cleaning works to a refurbished Co-0p supermarket.

Weatherhead has secured large contracts with one of the UK’s largest supermarket chain, Co-op, due to their unquestionable quality standards that set them above the rest, with consistent results on each and every project. 

Simply Cleaning has proven to assimilate perfectly with Weatherhead’s high-standards, in both health & safety and quality outcome, delivering consistent results across every project. 

Projects like these often see us travel all across the UK for us to undertake – from the very depths of Cornwall, right up to the highlands of Scotland. We frequently travel wherever we are needed to ensure the project is finished with the care and quality we provide and within the timescale our client requires. 

This project, at Co-op, Oxford, had a two-phase cleaning schedule. The first phase consists of a builders clean, where a team of our shop fit-out cleaners, removed dust, debris and paint from surfaces and floors. This phase also entails a clean to the store’s frames and windows, both internally and externally.

The builders clean will bring all of the hard work and effort carried out by the shopfitting contractors together. It will highlight any finishing touches that may be required too.

The second cleaning phase, the sparkle clean, ensures that all of the work shines through, leaving the perfect finish, ready to hand over to the customer – always with a smile on their face!

The sparkle clean is the phase in which we have to focus on the fine detail, everything must be checked, double-checked and checked again. We leave no inch untouched and uncleaned.

Starting from height and working all the way down to the ground level, all surfaces are polished to perfection. We even provide high-shine polish for the hard surface flooring upon request by the client.

Frame & window cleaning will be carried out for the second time, both internally and externally, leaving them streak-free and glistening.

Our shop fit-out cleaning services also include cleaning to external signage, cladding and canopies.

We ensure that the externals are thoroughly cleaned using our purified water-fed pole systems – for zero watermarks and a flawless finish. The building will then be ready to welcome in the customers – and once again, with this project, they were ecstatic with their new store and workplace.
