New Contract with Taylor Wimpey for their Netherton Grange Development

We have been awarded a new contract with Taylor Wimpey, for the construction cleaning at their Netherton Grange development, situated in Nailsea, Somerset.

A development of 130 high-quality new build homes is now underway, with the first set of plots, which includes the show home, are now raised and standing firm and with the first builders clean now complete.

We have secured a new contract for the first phase development, part of a three-phase development plan, which in total will see 450 new build homes constructed on 60 acres of farmland located on the south-western edge of the Nailsea, a greenfield site off Netherton Wood Lane. The first phase, however, will consist of 130 homes, which we are contracted to undertake the construction cleaning from the initial build clean, right through to the final sparkle clean. 

 

 

There is a mix of property types and sizes – something perfect for singles, couples and families. Phase one will comprise of a mixed development of homes, from 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family-houses, in a sought after location, on the peaceful edge of the town, surrounded by green open spaces and countryside to the rear. 

Stating in July, we have been undertaking regular welfare cabin cleaning in Somerset, at the Netherton Grange site. Tasked to ensure that site welfare facilities remain covid-secure and that operations can be maintained safely. Recently, however, we have been scheduled to carry out the first contracted post-construction clean on the site’s initial constructed plots. 

Nailsea has excellent transport links via road, rail and air. 

Bristol lies 16km to the east with good cycle and train links to the city.  Junction 20 of the M5 and Bristol Airport are only a short drive away (approximately 15 min). The town centre of Nailsea is a short five-minute drive away from the development, which boasts a range of amenities including pubs, restaurants, large supermarkets and independent shops. 

As part of the scheme, Taylor Wimpey Bristol will make contributions of more than £1.1m to the surrounding community, including highway improvements and green travel initiatives. Also, approximately 30% of the housing spanning the development will be designated affordable.
